    The Steepek story is false. Valuable lesson, sure, but untrue. The picture that usually accompanies this urban legend was stolen from a photographer in England, Brad Gerrard. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bradgerrard/6181194702/
    The unfortunate thing is that spreading lies like this weakens the witness of those who mean well. I’d encourage people to live this story, but not to lie or steal in encouraging others to do so.

  2. Preacher Carter , just so you know. I’ve been made aware that the alleged picture is from flickr of a real homeless man in England . I do not know if the story itself is true or not . If you have sny way to confirm it’s verasity please let me know . True or not it is wonderful storytelling but we at youviewed endeavor to desl in facts whenever possible . Thankd again . johngalt

    this is an urban legend, been around for more than 10 years. Nice lesson but can it really be, when it’s made up and passed off as an actual truth? I don’t think so. There is no Pastor Steepek.

    Not a true story. Find out where he is a pastor. The only place you will find Pastor Jeremiah Steepek is in regards to this story.
